My sister keeps insisting that my pessimistic, glass-half-empty attitude keeps me jaded toward others and my life would somehow be enriched by becoming an optimist. But based on our two very different opinions on how to look at the world and people, I’ve come to a conclusion.
I expect the worst and, sometimes, people surprise me.
She expects the best and people often disappoint her.
